burnt at stake for beliefs

At Canterbury 41 people were burnt at the stake between 1555 and 1558 in the reign of queen mary, a stone marks the spot were they all died. Any of them were burnt five at a time tied to two posts and a large fire lit around them.
The area is said to be haunted

That's what i thought, it's in a park and a stone marks the spot were they all died dedicated to there memory.

There was burnings at Peneden Heath as well, that's outside the old prison on county road Maidstone.
