Will Storr vs. The Supernatural – Will Storr

Will Storr vs. The Supernatural – Will Storr

A release from earlier this year by Storr, a sometime travel journalist and feature writer. Perhaps this is doing Storr an injustice, he has previously been voted ‘New Journalist of the Year’ and ‘Feature Writer of the Year’ and I think that this shows in his writing.

Heavily reminiscent of Jim Schnabel's 1993 offering on the then crop circle circuit ‘Round in Circles’, the book outlines Storr’s quest to find out the truth about ghosts from his catholic upbringing and position of disbelief.

In it he meets familiar groups and personalities (it’s like reading about the skeletons in your family cupboard) and reveals a side to them that you probably already guessed but never wanted to go into print on. He even gets on set for MH Live at the ‘Witchfinder General’ event with some interesting disclosures.

Surprisingly, despite his starting position and discussions with said personalities, he finds himself questioning his believes and opens to the possibility that ghosts, in fact, are very real.

I actually bought it for reasons that I won't go into, but overall I found it a very interesting read.

Storr tries to be a bit too clever with his use of words (tries a tad too hard in my opinion), but I enjoyed it none the less.

To summarise, it doesn't reveal anything that you don't already know or could have guessed, but it name’s names and like I said above, it's almost like reading up on your own family at times.

Kind Regards
Baruc.

Never heard of it to be honest, but sounds quite interesting.
