What makes a location haunted?How many sightings or experiences do you reckon should happen before a place/site should be labelled as haunted?

Tricky one that i suppose it would deend on what has happened and when and how many people have experinced what ever has happened. But then on the pther hand i suppose one person could have the experince and the place etc ould be classed as haunted.

A ghost can come back to one place or many places, IE Rochford hall is haunted one day a year by king Henry VIII. It maybe the day he meet someone or just liked the place and went there on that date.
Dick Turpin haunts many places and his horse, but not always at the same time, so a haunting once a year in one place can be haunted by a ghost that haunts many places.

Thats true, that could then be classes as a regular haunting I guess. I'd love to see Dick Turpin's spirit with Black Bess. They have fascinated me for years, it's a bit of a special relationship they had I believe. I would like to think that was true and that he really did have that special bond with his horse.
