These are partly done - unfortunately Alan has been busy as ever working and keeping the house in order etc and also has been hindered by someone who should have known better!!!! Turning the iron off, hiding T-shirts and transfers and generally being akward is not the most mature of things to do is it!!!!!!
Hope we will have these all done very soon. Thanks again Alan for doing these for us - your a star!

That does not surprise me! Don't worry, we will sort something out. The T-shirts the other group had the other night were nice, but pricey.

GHT experimented with using transfer print t-shirts to begin with, but the maths doesnt really add up...
firstly, unless you use another light colour (not best really, as most teams prefer black) then you need specific transfer sheets just for black t-shirts. You need to buy enough of these for each member, plus the t-shirts too... when we did it, it worked out to nearly £20 per person to cover cost of shirt and transfer materials.
Secondly, you need to be prepared to constantly pay out this sum because transfer prints fade quickly with repeated washing. Sooner rather than later you will need to replace shirts, and that means re-paying for all the materials again. It is a constant drain on finances.
Now...
Getting shirts done professionally not only gives the team t-shirts which will last alot longer and be better quality, but it is a ONE-OFF PAYMENT, you will not need to keep replacing items.
It also gives your team a more professional look rather than a "knocked-up at home" appearence and therefore more credibility.
And the cost???
When you make a bulk order like we did, it actually reduces the cost per shirt, the more you order, ours finally worked out to £14 each, saving £6 per person.
That speaks for itself really.
SPIITUAL INVESTIGATIONS has also done t-shirts this way, again saving money longterm - just ask Lynne.
GHT also has a re-order set up with the shop so we can replace or order new shirts at a cheaper rate.
I think if you are seriously going for t-shirts, no matter how appealing it is to cut corners and do transfer print - DON`T!
Just do one pay-out and get some decent shirts printed professionally.

Thanks, thats great if you can afford it. Sadly some BTM members (including myself and Gary) are short of money. Later on we will think about it once we are all sorted out and things are running a little smoother for everyone.

Just saying "been there, done that" okay? fair point if your short on cash, but then get some t-shirts done properly and its only a single payout, plus the more you do the less the cost.. personally, i think its a bit pointless taking the short cut as it WILL cost more in the end...
Still, its up to you hun...
