St Leonards TowerThis is a place that me and Gary drove past last night and I had a little wander round outside.
KT from Mysterial gave me this info, it might be worth a visit for a small invest if we are in the area doing something else, what do you guys think?
St Leonards Tower.
Norman, about 12th cent.
Small tower keep. owned by EH.
Not generally open to the public except exterior.
No connection to Templars, however - Old Soar Manor nearby may have been held by them for a short period, and your not too far from Strood, a big Templar powerbase - Temple Manor, a 12th/13thcent building, still stands amongst the industrial estate south of the town - viewing by appointment only to EH.
I could see Monks there, but I knew they weren't actually Monks, it would seem that they could well be Warrior monks.
Curtesy of KT - Warrier Monks founded in 1189AD to supposedly protect pilgrims to the Holy land, but in fact more likely an excuse for the church to raise a larger army and land-grab large areas of instead.
Hounded in percecution in 1309AD By Pope Innocent (mainly to get his hands on their lands and wealth!!) the Templars found themselves virtually wiped out. All their properties and assets were turned over to another group of fighting monks called the Knights Hospitiliers who remained in power until the reformation.
Sounds interesting doesn't it guys!

It was interesting yes, unfortunately it was locked when we went there cause it was very late, but very strong energy round there.
It is I believe West Malling, kind of North Kent, you know what I'm like with directions etc

I know for a fact that most aging air fields are open at night well open all hours if there not used Hornchurch is one and there are a few other that are permantly open well permently fields but if West Malling is still a used AirField then you'll need a Skeleton Key a crow bar and a set of wire cutters cos you'll need em to get it.
