Shadow on the waterLast night about 7ish i guess i was walking along the sea wall on Canvey with my mate Sonny D i looked over to the Kent side and i saw a shadow moving about a foot over the waves about 20 feet from the waters edge i watched it for about 2 minutes then got distracted and looked back and it had gone and there were no birds around (Well i mean of the flying type ).

No idea, could it have been a shadow under the water and the light creating trickery? Did you feel anything at the time, any coldness, fear or anything?

No it was above the water i'm sure of it and not fear and it was nippy out so i was cold anyway and the sun had set but there was enough light to distinguish that it was a showdow not trickery

If it was down by the jetty past shell beach, a ship sank there in 1902 from Portland.
