pub and churchHope all had a great evening friday, i did not think much of the pub but the church was great.
I won't name the place on site as it is open at night and if named then lots tend to go there. This is what happened at Mundon and is now locked as are so many overs.
Hope i never frightened James when doing trace and sorry if i did as i never know what is going to happen on vigils and no two are the same, shame Steve could not make it but great to see Trace and KC make it.
I felt there was a strong prescents as soon as we walked in and found many cold spots, KC got some great photos there.
I got some readings on my EMF meter then James took over with the meter. There is a norman aulter in there and was very cold around there, this is were i first went into trace and was channeling a vicar from the civil war period and must thank Manda for keeping me safe and asking him questons to find out as much as posible.
The second time i did trance was when i was sitting in the pews and was channeling for some time and believe confermed what KC picked up on, this was the same vicar as before and ofterwoulds was told he lived around 1645. As i came out of it i was very try and very tight chested and felt closterphobic, also drained of energy.
As we went outside me, Manda, KC and Trace all felt there was something in the graveyard near a yew tree, was going to take some photos but the batteries drained and went flat, there as no signal on my mobile photo by the porch of the church, once i moved away the signal came back.
Over all i felt we got a lot out of this place and got a lot of information on it's past and people who lived there, as i did trace and do not remember anything while under, Manda and Kc picked out a lot more than i did here so well done to both and have James injoyed himself.

It was a great night, Gary enjoyed it to and the church was fantastic. It's such a large church for such a small village.
You did great Alan, the vicar you were channelling was called Thomas Pendicott (not sure of the spelling) and he died when Cromwell came to the village, sadly he hid in a grave and no-one came back for him, so he was stuck in there and died. He was very keen for us to know that and was very distressed about Cromwell.
The energy inside the church is amazing, me and Gary have been there a couple of times to check it out and the energy always seems to be strong, the vicar Alan was working with told us that many spirits go there for sanctuary.
The pub was a little quiet, but not to worry, we live and learn when doing these things.

The evening started typically well in a pub! Then we went to the church dating from the 12th Century.
It was full of atmosphere and first of all I prayed for protection for us all, although I know everyone protects themselves anyway, I am a Christian so I felt reinforced by prayer.
We were by an altar which is part of an old tombstone when Alan in fact went into trance.
Instead of his Essex accent he had a gruff deep voice with an unplaceable country accent. We asked him who he was, Thomas Pindecott and he was vicar of this church for a short time. 'What year is it' we asked? 1645 was the answer, did he mind us talking to him? 'You are most welcome' the answer. He kept getting upset and distressed about 'Cromwell', shouting his name. We calmed him down saying Cromwell was no more and his church safe. He kept worrying about his precious books.
Alan came out of trance but later on in the evening went again into trance as he was sat in the pews. Thomas had come from Lincoln and had been called to this church. He said many had died and the village had been burnt by the roundheads. He said he was 76 and never been married. Then the sad bit, he had been hidden in a grave but no one came back for him and he had died there! How freaky is that? Once more he was shouting 'Cromwell' again and we calmed him down.
Bev saw the presence of a woman whom she felt was called Elizabeth and wore a tafeta dress in blue/green with the style been perhpas late Georgian. A very interesting evening, so thanks to all for making me welcome.color=cyan][/color]

Shame we didn't pick more up at the pub, but as we all know, some places are more active than others.
The vicar is fine and although he was very distressed about Cromwell coming and destroying his village, he is not grounded and just wanted us to know what happened to him. He is in a grave who was meant for someone called Richard, because when he spoke through Alan, he said I'm outside, not Richard, it's me!
It's so nice to be able to have access to the local church and the fact that it is such a large church for such a small village, makes it even more special.

friday investThe evening was very interesting. Although as Manda said, the pub was quiet (and no James, that doesn't mean there wern't alot of customers (although James thought they were doing a brisk trade and the prices were out of this world)). All i picked up in the pub was that the back part where we were sitting was not original. I felt that it had been added at a later date. I tried to connect to any spirit present, but with no success.
On arrival at the church the feeling was instant as soon I came to the mesh door. The feeling overwhelmed me as I entered the porchway. The energy levels were extremely strong.
On entering the church I was instantly drawn to the far side where there was an ancient door closing off a small room (I later found out from the church guide that it was originally the old vestry) where I could see a priest just standing motionless. He stayed with me for the whole invest but never moved, leading me to realise that he was no more than residue, a picture of what went before.
I picked up on the name Elizabeth, but had no vision of her straight away.
On moving down the church I felt a presence in front of a small locked cupboard, and received the name Charles Pindecott (not sure of spelling). He appeared to me in my minds eye, but not as a priest. He was dressed in everyday clothing and delivered the feeling that he was a helper (possible verger?), who set out the items needed for a service. I did see a silver goblet in my mind. Unfortunately I was unable to receive a date for him.
While Alan was in trance the second time I had Elizabeth back in my minds eye. She wore a dress, possibly of taffetta, in a greeny blue hue. She had her hair up and seemed to be in her twenties. I asked Alan/Thomas who she was and he said she came from the manor. She greived for her lost love who had been killed.
I also saw her later on in the central aisle facing me. She was expressionless, but I felt that she was aware of me being there.
A little later I went outside for a while. I had a very unpleasant feeling of being watched by something. The atmosphere became menacing and I hurriedly re-entered the church.
But what a night!
Thank you to all those that attended. You all made it yet another great invest.
And thank you to James, for not thinking that I'm wierd (well not too much anyway )

Sadly I never picked up on Elizabeth, but just before Alan was taken over in trance the first time, I did pick up on the name Thomas Long/Lang, I'm not sure if it was the same Thomas Alan was channelling and I picked up something he was trying to tell me and assumed it was his surname or not????
The pub has been there for a very long time, but was smaller, so I'm almost certain you are right there Bev. We have been there before (briefly to check it out) and there does not seem to be much activity, we hoped there would be more when we went this time, but obviously there is no or very little activity there.
When me and Gary went to check out the church a while ago the energy in there was amazing, it's certainly an interesting place and well worth another visit when we are in the area again sometime.
Glad you had a good night Bev.

You are very welcome mate, me Manda, KC and Trace have been doing this a long time now. As you found out, the place was by the cannel and once belonged to the army. The problem was that a kid drowned there and the mother was heart broken, this is were the crying comes from and sometimes screaming. She,s fine now as she has now joined her family.
Hope to see you on more as Gary comes on all now and he gets all the contacts that we go to. We have helped lots of people now living and spirit ( spooks as you put it ) all over Essex, Kent and some in Suffolk and Sussex.
