It looks as though some of you are having a really tough time at the moment, and Alan I am sorry to hear of your losses. Hang on in there and I hope all becomes good in time. x

An idea for a future investigation - I have just been reading about Penenden Heath near Maidstone, where people were taken to be executed up until 1830. May be worth a visit, what do you think?

Hi all,penenden heath was the place where convicts from around kent were hung mainly smugglers etc... the site of the gallows are not at the heath as it is today but down by the chiltrens pub .
