pendle hillhi all - sorry my internet has been down, so this is my first chance to up date you.
the weekend before halloween i went to stay at a friend of a friends in liverpool. on the friday when we arrived i had a walk round the house to see who or wot was haunting it. i picked up on a man on the top of the stairs, which was confirmed inc his name and other details.
i then picked up on a lady in the front bedroom, which was also later confirmed but not any details with this one.
they were both in visitation.
we then did glass divitation but only had small amount of success. i dont think they like my southern accent
sat morning and we travelled to pendle hill.
we found tynedown farm but could not get near it as it now occupied. we found a witches shop and bought a few bits and asked a few questions and found out some interesting facts. most haunted DID NOT film at tyndedown farm but in an empty barn, which has now been changed into flats, so again we could not visit there either.
but we did find the church yard where the witches were buired, so a visit was in order. the church was open so we went inside and took a few photos. there was a cleaning lady there so we asked her where the witches were buried and she showed us.
we then decided to return later when it was dark.
we drove round and found a very old building housing antiques. we went in and pick up on a few things ( by touching curtain items) i also picked up that the building use to be a factory with mainly women in it, but could not work out wot they were doing, so i asked the peaple there, they confirmed wot i had picked up and said it was a cotton mill, thats why i could not work out wot they were doing.
later we went to have something to eat before our vigal.
a lot of pubs had signs up saying FOOD SERVED ALL DAY, wot a laugh none of them did.
finally we fould a resterant. after ordering i got chatting with the owner and fould out the building was haunted and she asked me to see wot i could pick up as on tues they were having a pycic nite and it would be good to confirm wot she may pick up she said.
i picked up on a man sitting by the open fire place smoking a pipe, but i did not recognize the baccy, it was a very rough strong one. this was confirmed.
by the stairs i picked up on a man dressed in the period clothes of king charles. and a boy and girl on the stairs in the same type of clothes. again this was confirmed.
upstairs i picked up on a lady in a pale green dress, it was reported a lady in white but i said i could not pick up a lady in white only in green. walking round a corner it felt calm then going under an arch and i gasped. the diferance here was incredable. it was very hevy in this area. this was also confirmed. i walked further into the room, i stopped under a beam but it was a false one. the original one was used to hang a man that was why it was so repressive.
after a lovely meal we returned to the gave yard.
sitting in the porch area (like at pluckly) we heard knockings.
we had a walk round but did not pick up on anything so returned to porch. another group arrived, they had a walk round, taking loads of pictures. they then came and spoke to us in the porch. they go to the church yard regularly. they told us about curtain hot spots.
after they had gone to return later. we went to see wot there hot spots were like. the first one was on the right side by a small gate. i put my hand over the gate and picked up a warm spot which every one felt so we took some photos. i picked up a turquise blue rod, where the warm spot was.
on the left they said they picked up on loads of orbs, we picked up on a few but nothing major. we agreed later that we turned our torches off when taking photos the other group didnt so may be they were picking up the light from their torches.
must later i wondered around on my own. on the left of the church but not in the bit we had been before, i picked up on a 22 yr old woman dressed in a low cut red dress with a red scarf around her neck. i spoke to her. she told me her name and when she died and that she was strangled and then her troat cut. i then thought she said she was a good girl but when i repeated this she laughed and said a good time girl. it was a client that had killed her. she told me where she was buried , so went to look and found her grave under a tree. this confirmed her name and when she had died.
i was well pleased with wot i had picked up.
at 12 o clock we decided to leave, as nothing else was happening.
on the way back we stopped above tynedale farm and i tried to comunicate with the witches but nothing happened.
we returned to liverpool for the nite.
after breakfast on sun we left to travel the long journey home. arriving home about 6pm.

Sounds fantastic, will have to try and get over there. I know Gary and Alan were gonna go but got cancelled at the last minute cause of a course Alan had to do. Maybe we could try and arrange a couple of days away for the team and visit there.

Yes we were supposed to go, but things can't be helped and we will just have to re-arrange it for another time.
