New member saying HiHi All
Just wanted to give a quick intro of myself.
I can't promise I'll be regular contributor, but I am interested in the experiences and opinions of other members, so will be dropping by fromtime to time.
I've come to the site via Manda....I'm not really sure how would desribe myself..I'm not a total unquestioning believer, neither am I a closed mind sceptic........I like to keep my heart and my mind open.
Manda and I have spoken on occasions about the unexplained things that have happened to me. I've always been quite intuitive, but 7 years ago when my Father died (who I was very close to) odd little things happened.
He appeared to me in a dream and showed me a bungalow that he thought my Mother should move into. I'd never seen the property before, but recognised it immediately, when I took my Mother to see it. She moved in and has been very happy there.
An earring that I lost years ago, appeared on the lid of my jewellery box.
When I was going through a terrible time in my life at work and the pressure was really getting to me. I was driving the car and the CD player clicked on and the first song that played was called "Don't be afraid I will be here" .....I hadn't put it on and the CD player hadn't reliably played a CD for weeks prior to that and we had stopped using it.
There are times when I feel my Dad's presence so strongly, I feel that I could turn around and he will be standing there. He's come to me in dreams and these are the only dreams that I remember..even now some years later.
Is it wishful thinking? Who knows...all I know is that for me, he is still very much a part of my life and I like to think he has been the guiding light in helping me to make some quite radical, life changing decisions and moves over the past few months.
