Hythe pubA huge thanks to all the team - we had a fantastic night and hopefully our information has put the owners minds at rest a little now.
A big thanks also to Tinkers and Mr Tinkers for doing the report (their first proper one ), which will be on here shortly.

Hi there
Yes was a really interesting night. Here's the report (well, a set of bullet points really of what happened). Apologies to everyone if there are any slight inaccuracies - do put me straight on anything that isn't right.....
· Bev walked around with the EMF meter, which went off wildly over the piano. (I think it was decided later that the EMF meter was unreliable?)
· Alan said he was picking up on the name “Anna”
· Trigger objects were set up in the bar area – drinks mats were placed on pieces of paper and metal balls were placed together (touching). The outline was drawn around the mats so as it would be easy to see if they had been moved at the end of the evening.
· Manda and Tracey were standing to the right of the bar and picked up on a man wearing a long coat. The names “Harold” and “Thomas” were suggested. Manda said he was an imposing figure, and did not seem to be impressed with their presence and what they were doing. The man’s age was estimated to be in his 50’s. Tracey said he appeared to be wearing some sort of boots.
· Manda and Tracey noted that it was warm near the window but that there was a cold spot between the window and the bar.
· Tracey wondered whether the man might have been a gamekeeper.
· Alan went into a Trance and said to Manda “Money now or Out”. When asked what the year was he stated “1797”. The pub was apparently called “The George” at this time, and the mans name was William, who had a wife called Anna who was a cook. William (through Alan) said that he worked behind the bar.
· Bev went to stand in a room behind the bar and stated that she thought there was activity to the left of the bar. A temperature change was noted in the room, and Bev picked up on a male energy who walks out from the room behind the bar through to the bar area. Bev thought it was the same man that Manda and Tracey had picked up on and gave a similar physical description.
· The landlord said the area behind the bar used to be butchers.
· The ladies who work behind the bar felt something move past their shoulders when standing in the room behind the bar with Bev.
· Bev said she believed that the male figure touches people and strokes the ladies hair. The landlady said she had once felt someone stroke her hair but at the time had thought it was her husband.
· The group moved to the poolroom, where Bev picked up on the feeling that some kind of “kangaroo court” was held there. The word “murder” came to Bev’s mind, and she felt that unfair and/or unauthorised justice was administered there. The landlord said that upstairs there was a minstrel gallery, and that there were peepholes in the doors.
· One of the girls who works behind the bar came to tell us that a trigger object had moved. The bar mat on the paper on the bar had moved up and to the right slightly.
· Manda thinks that someone has died in the past in the poolroom. She picked up on a young lady in a very long dress.
· Alan picked up on a man called “Norris Barratt” who would have come from Margate. Alan said he worked as a mouse catcher when he first came here and then worked his way up. He made his own ale in a place called “The Beehive”, and he had a family.
· Manda said she thought all three sets of beer mats had moved.
· Alan said he had the feeling that there were disused chambers under the bar and surrounding seating area. The landlord said there was no evidence found/no sign of there being any chambers. Alan then said he was having an image of square slabs of concrete with money hidden inside. This developed into an image of money being put into a pull-handled bag and put into a hole under the floor. The concrete was then possibly slid over the top?
· Tracey was sitting to the left of the bar and picked up on a little girl, aged 7 – 8 who had lived in the pub. She was wearing a dress that looked similar to a long t-shirt.
· Bev went into the ladies toilets and said the atmosphere in there felt wrong. Bev picked up on a female energy, and had the impression of some sort of flashing in front of her eyes. The female energy was felt to be in her 20’s, wearing a dark dress and an apron. Bev couldn’t pick up on any further details.
· Manda went into the ladies toilets and could hear low muffled voices. She felt it would have been busy and crowded in there.
· Bev said she felt the toilets weren’t there in the past, that they were a recent addition to the pub. The landlord confirmed that the toilets were a relatively recent addition in their current location in the pub.
· Alan picked up a male energy called “Steven” who he felt was linked to someone in the pub at the time, rather than being linked to the pub. Steven had the appearance of living in the 1970’s and was good at origami.

Photos from the nightHi, Mr Tinkers here :)
Here's a link to some of the better pics from the night: http://s19.photobucket.com/albums...%20Pics/Hythe%20Pub%2003-08-2007/
There were actually more than I thought there would be.....just goes to show that it pays to look at them on the PC first before deleting them

pub hythesounds like a great nite.
the pics were good as well.
sorry to ask this - but - where the trigger objects were set were they made safe so no one could tamper with them. the reason i ask, on an investigation i was on they were tampered with, so i alway try and make it impossible for anyone to get near them.
you got some good orbs that nite.

We placed them in areas where we could keep a close eye on them, but they were not locked away. Some moved and some did not, I know what you mean though.
