Hawkinge airfieldSadly a lot of this area is now built on, but a small piece is left and hopefully will be preserved. We have done a small invest there and found a lot of airmen (as expected), picked up the sense of a large fire which I now know happened when the airfield was bombed during WW2 and in one or two places intense sadness.
The Battle of Britain museum there has various hangers containing evidence etc gathered from the site and other locations and one hanger in particular was very strong. I went there with Gary last year and had to leave the hanger because I was feeling very light headed and sick.
