Haunted HomesI am enjoying the series. The last one I saw was the episode with the RAF couple in their own refurbished home. They seemed quite an intelligent pair, but the medium soon put the wind up them. Chris French did the best by staying in the van!
I would like to know what the latin prayer is that the medium uses each week to remove spirits from this plan.

Haunted HomesI have just purchased the paperback edition of Mia Dolan's book, Haunted Homes. Ms Dolan is the psychic who runs the programme and removes the ghosts. Apparently, the book explains things in much more detail than the TV series does. It covers all of the investigations in the series (either 6 or 7 homes, depending on which review is read.)
I am hoping that it gives the source of the latin prayer which she uses during her 'spirit release' sessions on each episode of the series. Is it a latin prayer of blessing or one of banishment? I may be able to answer this next week.
I will hire it out to members for a mere £10 a read. I think it cost £6.99p and is available, new and used at Amazon.

Haunted HomesI am really getting on well with this book. Mia Dolan is such an ordinary person, apparently with a great gift. The book explains much more than the television series. It tells of how the system works and how the unseen members of the team, feel and operate.
I have read the introduction, which tells of Mia's experiences and how she developed her 'gift'. I have read chapter one, which is about her first 'house clearance' for TV. It was the pilot for the series. And I have read chapters two and three, which cover the next two investigations. The book also tells how the programme has evolved as it has continued. I had a good drool over the Winnebago. It may be black, but certainly is luxurious. I want one!
I must apologise for lying about the price of the book. It is actually £3.99p from Amazon. It is paperback and at that price, must be the snip of the year. *****

Here are two versions of Psalm 129. The first is taken from Mia Dolan's book Haunted Homes. The second is from the internet found by googling Latin, Psalm 129. It has the various accents included. I think that they are the same.

Haunted HomesOf course I do not know this. But. £95 throw away money is quite a lot.
Of course Mia Dolan supports herself and her Mother and Niece, so she has to charge enough to cover this. I do think that like everyone else she has given way to charging as much as she can get away with. To me, this casts doubts as to anybody's sincerity. I don't expect people to work for nothing, but she does seem to charge a lot for what she gives.

I think anyone with the gift should use it to help others for nothing or as you say TC, a very little charge. I understand that people need to live, but most of us have a regular job and do this stuff outside of work.
