They can be echos of the past like replays and can be in visitation.
It may be you are not seeing them to clear, like a camera maybe out of focous to you.
Can you see ora around spirit and living, if not this would be why you are not seeing clear.
It is in a way seeing spirit in blasck and white and not colour, ask your guides to see in colour this will help a lot.
When you see in colour, a spirit should have a thin white ora around it, if so then it's from the light and has pasted over, if not, then it's not passed to the light and maybe a trapped soul of from hell.
But if from hell the ora should be black, but can change but not to white.
Evil can lie.

Thanks Alan, I almost always see in my mind (third eye), I rarely see with my own physical eye. I have seen at Canewdon inside the church, I saw the misty black figure of George and two very faint grey misty figures sitting inside the church, but this is the only place I have seen anything with my physical eye.
I will ask my guides to see in colour, I would love to be able to see spirit clearer, I do see in colour in my mind, but have never noticed an aura's around them.
