Folkestone/CapelShame about the station, but not to worry. I think the WW2 site was a good site and there seemed to be quite a lot of activity there, although it is right on the edge of the cliff which does cause a problem to those who are scared of heights (sorry Tinkers).

heightstell me about it! That is the most scared I have ever been on an invest! I really find it a hard challenge to do heights.
I went to Dover castle once and was on my hands and knees on the battlements, unable to even stand up.
I was struggling at Seville cathedral too up the tower, as luck had it a calming presence was there to look after me!

aww bless ya, Bev is very good at calming people down.
It is so close to the cliff edge it really is quite scary, when me and Gary went to check it out one day it didn't seem quite so bad but at night you realise just how close you really are. Literally inches!!!!
Hope you found it interesting there.

i JUST KEPT feeling ver uneasy standing by the bunker as though somebody was standing right behind me hence the reason i went back up the bank pretty sharpish although i did manage to get some pics of the inside of the bunker. One of them has a nice bright orb in it which was good. May pop back in the day time soon and see that my fears were totally irational when i am ok

it does have a heavy feeling at the back of the bunker in one of the little rooms (the L/H side one especially).

I believe that i picked up on an energy of its own making. An energy/force born out of fear and pain. It was a calming energy, very much filled with love. That may seem hard to understand, but it was as if it was there as a protector. It felt yearned for by the unfortunate people stuck there over the years, people feeling intense fear and sadness, so therefore it was created, because it was needed (it just 'is').
It was incredibly powerful, and nearly brought me to my knees!
I hope you can understand what i mean. Created by the creator. Created by emotion.
No, it wasn't a dog. Think we picked up on different things Manda

Quite possibly KC, I definately saw what I can describe as an old fashioned American Bulldog - it stood approx the height of a labrador and was mostly white with a large studded collar.

Glad all had a good time, it was a bit close to the cliff edge and a long way down.
Looking at old maps there is far more underground than that is on the surface, it was built like the tunnels at Dover.

Have just been doing some research on the folkestone area and found there was an airship station and huge aircraft hangers on capel cliffs in ww1. manda x
