They can be, but most times is about not knowing. We fear the toilet as babies, later we fear the dark as tots, then fear leaving our mum's when starting school. Live is all about learning, once we understand more and the fear goes.
With the paranormal 75% of the would do not believe until they see for themselfs, when they do and don't understand, that's when they fear.

I guess so, it does kind of make sense. What I don't understand though, is how can we fear something we don't know anything about? What makes us scared of something when we don't know if it is gonna be horrible or nice??

I sse what you are saying my mum is terrified of the things we do on invests and contacting spirirt but at the same time is absolutely fascinated by it all.When she comes here she has to look at the site and read some posts . I asked her what she was scared of and she said she didn't know, then said she thinks she thinks we are dabbling in things we shouldn't.

Mmmm some people do think that. Some seem to think we do stuff like summoning the devil and annoying the spirits, strange really, but I guess if you don't understand, you make things up from stuff you have heard in the past.
