Hi Mark, have to do some vigils in essex, Great Wigborough, Mundun and Abberton churches are all open at night.
Have you been to Langenhoe? That is a place, seeing is believing.

Have you been to Waltham Abbey in Essex, it's just off the M25. King Harold was buried here ofter the battle of Hastings. Another good haunted site is Tily abbey, there is not much left of it but is haunted by monks, they were put to death by orders of king John.
There is also Canewdon, Mundon, Saffron Walden, Pendon, East Mersea, Hadleigh castle, Hadlow, Colchester, Great Wigborough, Manningtree, Mistley, Abberton, Brightlingsea, Alresford ruin church, Virley ruin church, Coggeshall, Wicham Bishop's disused church, Borley, Finchingfield, Clare castle, Hempstead (Dick Turpin's birth place), St Osyth, Onger Castle, Blackmore priory, Shopland (site of old church), Pagesham, Tilbury fort.

Bring all these places to our meeting on the 4th March Alan, we are gonna start expanding our sites this year. I think we are gonna be quite busy this year and for many years to come. 8)

Shopland Church was pulled down in the 1950's, but the graveyard is still there and is up the lane on the left hand site of Shopland hall
