Avebury and stone circlesHi all,
Having just been to Avebury and Stonehenge in the last few days, I have to say the energy round them both was fantastic. It was amazing being able to touch the stones at Avebury, such a shame we couldn't get close to the Stonehenge ones, but I did pick up quite a bit at Woodhenge and The Sanctuary.
Has anyone else been to any stone circles and how did you find the energy and the connections?

The Avebury circle is a far more impressive location than Stonehenge in my humble opinion.
The whole area has a lot to offer and a day there is never enough.
The majority of stone circles pale in comparison with these two, although the Rollright Stones in Oxfordshire come a close third.
Never personally felt any energy at any such location, but hey, I have a reputation to live up to.

Thanks Baruc, I have to agree with you there, Avebury was more impressive than Stonehenge I think, but I loved both.
