Hello

I wonder if people can offer any advice to this.

My brother works in an office in Lille, France and was close friends with a colleague called Yannick (aged 38)

Last Monday (2 April) my brother noticed that Yannick seemed really quiet and low. Someone found him crying in the toilets. Everyone gave him space because he was the type that does not talk too much about problems.

Then my brother heard a sound he has never heard before, Yannick threw himself out of the window and fell 3 floors to his death.

One can only imagine all that he went through.

My brother has just had to work 4 night shifts on the trot and was really freaked out that something paranormal would occur, that Yannick would come with a message for him, to explain why he took away his life force with his own hands.

Normally those shifts would have been working with Yannick. His situation was macabre and often very uncanny. He felt that the kitchen was full of Yannick's spirit, my brother spent his 4 nights waiting for something to happen, which did not materialise. I consider that he has been very brave and courageous, working under such stressful conditions whilst feeling so tender and vulnerable.

Has anyone any ideas about what could happen? It is a difficult question but one wonders if his spirit is restless and regretting this one way action.

Hi,

That is so very sad and I think your brother has been very brave. As far as I know (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong here

), a spirit will come back and make their presence known to a loved one or a close friend, only if they feel this person will not be distressed or upset by their visitation. It is possible that your brothers friend is around, but he may not make his presence actually known until he feels your brother will be comfortable with it.

If your brother feels able to, it would be nice for him to speak to his friend, even if he does not get a direct reply, his friend is likely to be able to hear him and know he has not been forgotton.

I hope your brother feels able to stay as strong as he is and that everything will settle down soon.

Thanks for a sensitive reply.

What you say makes a lot of sense and I really feel the right thing in posting this.

I spoke about it to KC and she said it would be a good idea to post it on the forum as people would be able to give good advice.

I went all shivery down the back reading that post.Hopefully Yannick is now at peace with his loved ones , i too feel your brother is very brave to confront his fears head on like this. i also believe that Yannick will give him a sign when he has healed to say that he is ok in a nice way. That your brother will understand. My belief is that for somebody such as Yannick will get spiritual healing in the spirit world enabling him to understand what led to the decision he made and also giving him the peace he needs to heal spiritually.

Thanks for giving Jamie your thoughts on the matter.

You have both said pretty much what I have, but a second opinion is always gratefully accepted in such a sad and sensitive case as this.

Jamie's brother is indeed very courageous and all while he is filled with so much grief at losing his friend
I'm not so sure that I would have as much courage as he has shown.

Hi James, i'm so sorry for your brother to have to go through that, my best friend was struck by lightnin infrount of me and died so i have some idea how he must feel.

First may i say that it would of been his time to go and in life we all fill pain, at the end of our lives some may go of heart attack , kidney, liver or lungs pack up. With overs there pain of life is just to great for them to carry anymore.

Think of 2000 years ago and all the pain Jesus went through then after his dead he rosed from the dead in perfict health and no pain.
Your brother once he has got over the shock, tell him to talk to his friend as spirit hear our thoughts and will in time get a answer from him.

Tell your brother these words,
Pain is a touchstone of spiritual progress.
When he understands these words then he will understand what happened to his friend and why it was ment to be.

I know that you believe in the Saints and have a strong faith, here are some words from heaven;
It's easy to get lost in endless speculation.
So today release the need to know why things happen as they do.
also ask for the insight to recongnize what you're meant to learn from this

I hope this helps you and your brother to understand but no words can change time of take away the pain that the ones left feel.
May god bless your brothers friend spirit and a smooth passing to the eturnal light on the over side.
