How did you guys become involved in investigations?

Here is how I did - it's a bit wierd, but true!

I have always been interested in the paranormal, but never really did anything about it, except read stuff. In 2004 I had a real feeling that I was going to lose my beloved dog, but I ignored it and pushed it to the back of my mind, but did do quite a bit of research into the afterlife and if animals could come back once they have passed.

I then found the Mysterial site (through my friend at work) and got quite involved with the discussions etc. I still had this feeling my dog was going to die and ignored it! I wanted to prove to myself that she was going to be ok and not gone forever and Mysterial really helped me with that and so did my friend KC.

The morning she collapsed, I knew she was going to die and I knew it was cancer, (it was instant and she had been fine the day before, so there was no sign of illness at all) but again I ignored it and tried to pretend it wasn't going to happen - I spent the whole day waiting for the results from the vet, knowing what the outcome was going to be and wishing I was wrong. I cried for most of the day, but I couldn't get these thoughts out of my mind

When the inevitable phone call happened and I had to have her pts that evening, because she was dying infront of me, I knew she was going to come back and see me, but not for a while?????? Don't ask me how!

I had her individually cremated the next day (tuesday) and picked her up on the thursday, it somehow felt she had come back home and I felt much happier. From that day onwards, her daughter lies underneath where her ashes sit and had never done that before she came back home.

I then wanted more proof and went on my first invest in Feb 05, hoping to prove to myself more than anything, that there really was life after death. I sure did that night, with the help of KC and some good photo's.

It all went on from there, I did more invests, met some fantastic people and then I began to develop my wonderful gift in September 2005 with the help of KC, Alan and Lynn and in December 2005 my beloved Tassel came to say hello to me!!!!!

I couldn't believe it, it was such a wonderful experience and my gift has got stronger and stronger since then. I know she is with me, helping me and I now can't get enough of doing investigations and finding out more. I have also discovered I can use my gift to help others and that is fantastic.

Well, thats my story, lets hear yours.
