In my Home Town of Maldon is a place called the Moot Hall. It was built in the 1100's and has acted as the towns Police Station, Gaol, Court House and Council Offices, as a matter of fact; the Word Moot is derived from a Saxon word meaning place of Meeting. It is a three storied building, on the ground floor is the Old Police Station and Cells, and prisoners courtyard, the 1st floor is home to the old court room and the 2nd floor is the council meeting room and old Mayors Parlour.
I First visited this place about a year ago and got talking to the guide (there are two tours held in building on Saturday afternoons in the summer months). I asked her casually if there was any history of paranormal disturbance within the building, she then went on to tell me of her own experiences in the building. She claimed to have seen several dark shadowy figures go across the room in the old police station on the ground floor. She also hears things being moved around upstairs in the building when there can't possibly be anyone inside at the time. She used to open up for tours and find doors opened that had been closed the previous night, find furniture moved around and other strange experiences like this. In terms of veridical evidence, there have been several photos taken at the location showing Orbs and mist, and even in one occasion a photo taken in the prisoners courtyard showed the faint outline of a person stood in a corner.
I have paid several visits to this location over the last year and have had various experiences involving audible phenomena such as, on one occasion while speaking to the guide in the down stairs police station, Two other witnesses and I heard the sound of a door being slammed shut on one of the upper floors. At that point in time the door that accessed the upper floors was shut and locked. The only way to these upper floors is through an external door. We promptly moved to the upper floors to find the cause of these noises, only to find no change to the doors, which had all been closed when the guide was last in that area. This suggests to me two actual occurrences had taken place, one being the original opening of the door which we later heard slammed, remember that we would not have heard the door being opened in the first place as it would not have caused sufficient noise.
One another occasion during a tour that contained another 8 people at least, while all group members were in the Mayors parlour, we heard the sound of a chair being dragged across the floor. The sound was very brief, lasting only a few seconds, but very distinct. I immediately checked all chairs and carried out a baseline test of the room, no anomalous results were picked up on the baseline test. The other members of the tour can all verify that this event had taken place as it resulted in me being asked many questions.
I am still investigating this place and have as yet to reach a conclusion.

Ok, go to Photobucket.com and set up an album, then upload the pics you want to post (once you have resized them) and then you copy the image code and paste it into your message on here.
