At Warley near Brentwood in essex is the remains of the old army camp,
it was first opened in 1742 and last used during the last.
There is mainly woods there now and by the old chapel is many world war one graves from those who died in the great war who served in the Essex regiment.

I thought this would be a great place to do a vigil and know people who would be very intrested in what ever we pick up about the barrocks and the people who were once stationed there.
The Essex regiment served in both world wars and in south Africa during the boer war.

Warley common was used as a trainning ground for the Est Essex militia and the Essex rifles militia, some of these were buried in the now closed Lorne Road cemetery that is part of the woods
