What exactly are rods? Are they elongated orbs?

Rods are between 5 inches to about 3 foot and are straight lines of pure light, you get a lot of these at Mundon church were sprit is very active, it is there entrance back to the earth plain, once here, then you see a orb or a mist with a large orb then a ghost if they show thenselfs
